Graham Archer

Graham J. Archer is a UK and European qualified patent attorney with 20 years’ experience.  He is registered to practice before the UK and European Patent Offices as well as to prosecute Registered Design applications at the European Union Intellectual Property Office. 

 

Graham’s main areas of practice are mechanical and process engineering, electronics and software implemented inventions.   He works directly and closely with clients to ensure their IP portfolios make a beneficial return on the investment they make in them.    This work includes drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications, working with clients on invention spotting and ensuring freedom to operate.

 

Graham works with a wide variety of clients including start-ups, small to medium sized companies and universities as well as multinational industry leading companies including acting as in-house counsel, leading on worldwide portfolio management, filing strategy and litigation.  In addition to experience in utilising patents he has drafted in litigation to remove a competitor’s product from the market, Graham has repeatedly successfully defended clients from enforcement action.
